When you sign up using Google Sign-In, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and profile picture (from Google)
• A username you choose or that's generated for you
• Content you create — bio, manga uploads, comments, ratings
• Usage data — chapters you read, manga you follow, likes and comments you make

We do not collect or ask for your Google account password at any point.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your Manga7 account
• Show you personalized content, like your readlist and followed creators
• Send you notifications about likes, comments, follows, and new chapters
• Improve the platform based on how it's used

Manga7 uses a secure, httpOnly cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie cannot be read by scripts on the page and is used solely for authentication — it is not used for advertising or tracking across other websites.

Manga7 relies on a small number of trusted third-party services:

• Google Sign-In — for authentication
• Cloudinary / Cloudflare R2 — for storing images (avatars, covers, manga pages)
• MongoDB — for storing your account and content data

These services process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security practices.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your public profile information (username, bio, avatar) and public activity (published manga, comments, ratings) are visible to other users, as is expected on a content platform.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure password-free authentication via Google and encrypted connections. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.

You can update your profile information (name, username, bio, avatar) at any time from your dashboard. To request deletion of your account and associated data, please contact us through our Contact page.

Manga7 is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
